Steve Hampson
Co-founder
Steve is a UK based entrepreneur and started his first business after leaving university creating a vehicle rental and leasing company.
This business was built to become one of the largest independent businesses within that sector in the UK. It was sold to the largest European operator in 2007 in a multi-million pound deal which allowed Steve to create a family investment office.
His current Investment strategies include; a large portfolio of commercial real estate, traditional financial market trading and alternative investments including YOTOTO.
Steve has chaired many company and industry sector boards, including those involved in legal and regulatory sectors. He has advised in the public sector at local and national levels on the SME sector business community.
Since 2007 his philanthropy has involved being a member of the senior regional team at The Princes trust charity and more recently in 2013 he founded and chairs The Star Trust charity, supporting smaller charities across the East Midlands.
David Balfe
Co-founder
David is a well-respected businessman based in the UK with extensive investments in varied sectors of commerce.
David is currently engaged in his historic construction housing and commercial property development business, established in 1949, which will soon reach £50 Million annual turnover. He also operates an associated, multi locational plant hire business as well as running a European GT race car team with immense successes.
- US based manufacturer in the cryogenic sector
- Developed, operated and sold a large chain of nursing care homes
- Created a business selling plant hire machinery to African countries
- Created the largest UK based race team for multiple categories, operating 14 race cars
Other sectors of expertise include commercial vehicle body manufacturing, machine handling sales and commercial property development.
Gert Kopera
Co-founder
Gert is a well-renowned and respected industry veteran having spent his entire working life in the hospitality sector.
Of Austrian descent and multilingual he has operated businesses on a global basis and developed a remarkable and valuable network of worldwide key players and contacts throughout the sector.
He has held the most senior roles in well-known operators in hotels and restaurants alike with such names as:

- D.ream Group
- Rosewood Hotels
- Hilton Hotels
amongst his repertoire.
He truly is a global personality in the world of hospitality and recognised as one of the leading figureheads in this field with unparalleled knowledge and experience.
Myles Doran
Co-founder
Myles is a senior executive with 30 years’ experience in the FMCG, leisure and hospitality sectors, with a proven track record in building to scale both privately owned and PLC businesses for both exit and long-term growth.
His career has spanned multi-channel sales, commercial partnerships and agreements, route to market, product creativity, marketing, operations and procurement with a successful footprint of building brands and profitability throughout the UK. He has successfully exited two previous businesses and taken a business through an IPO process to list on the market in London on material upside multiples.
He has worked with many of the leading hospitality operators in the UK and has a strong network of industry connections and relationships at C-suite level within the hospitality and drinks brands market in Europe and the US. He has achieved significant successes in creating and growing sector operator brands in reach and value, exploiting emerging consumer trends, leveraging commercial and digital initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
He has worked with the largest drinks brands in the world to develop their reach and relevance. He has most recently created an advisory & consultancy business to deliver strategic and interim solutions across business-critical disciplines.
